KSI will be taking on a pro boxer in Tommy Fury on Saturday night, but he feels like he could go even further than that.
The social media star has claimed that as his camp for his clash with Fury comes to an end, he feels like he could ‘give it a good f***ing go’ against fighters such as Canelo, Dmitry Bivol or Artur Beterbiev.
“It’s kind of weird, but I honestly feel like at the end of camp I could fight anyone and give it a good f***ing go,” KSI said on the Vivid Ink Tattoos YouTube Channel.
“Whether it’s Canelo, whether it’s [Dmitry] Bivol, whether it’s [Artur] Beterbiev, anyone.
“I just feel like I’m on a different level.
“But, that’s just the training, obviously I know in reality if I fight these guys, technically they’re way better than me and they know how to beat me.”
For context, Canelo is the current undisputed super middleweight world champion and for a long time he was considered the pound-for-pound number one active boxer.
This was until he was beaten comprehensively by Bivol, who became only the second man to hand Canelo a loss, with Floyd Mayweather being the first.
And Beterbiev is one of the most formidable fighters in the sport today.
He currently holds the unified WBC, WBO and IBF light heavyweight world titles and he has an unbeaten record of 19-0, having knocked out every opponent he has faced in the ring.
Fortunately for KSI, he will not have to face any of these men on Saturday night, although he will have a tough task as he comes up against Fury, who is the younger brother of WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury.
Fury has already beaten another social media star in Jake Paul earlier this year, who many considered to be the best influencer boxer out there, and so KSI will be the underdog come fight night.
