But while this is usually a drama-free part of the pre-fight buildup, John Fury caused a scene after being told that KSI’s entourage has planned to weigh his son on a carpet.

As a result, John Fury threatened to cancel the blockbuster fight at the AO Arena in Manchester unless the weigh-in was moved to a room with a hard floor, such as the toilet.

In footage shown on the Misfits Boxing YouTube channel, John Fury said: “They’re f***ing s****.

“You can’t weigh on that f***ing thing, it’s on the carpet. What the f*** is going on here?”

John Fury then continued: “Listen pal, I’m not trying to shout, I’m just telling you.

“We’ll call the thing off then. We’ll call the f***ing thing off then. F*** him. We’ll call the f***ing thing off then.”

He wasn’t finished yet though, saying: “Weigh on a hard a surface, not a carpet.

“It’s bulls***. You’re in the bentest sport in the world, mate. Forget it.”

Even Tommy Fury could be heard in the background, saying: “Come on, a hard surface. You know that.”

The presenter of the YouTube video subsequently revealed that Tommy Fury took to the scales in the bathroom.

Both KSI and Tommy Fury made weight for the fight at 181.3lbs and 182.6lbs respectively.

There was also drama on the undercard as Dillon Danis accused Logan Paul of missing the deadline for the official weigh-in.
