What is Gary Neville’s net worth and how does Manchester United legend compare to the other Dragons?

Gary Neville will be featuring as a special guest on Series 21 of Dragon’s Den.

Neville has been featured in first-look pictures ahead of the latest episodes of the BBC’s hit series where he will look to invest in businesses of the future.

Filming has already been completed and the 48-year-old will appear on the show when it eventually airs next year.

Some questions have been raised over why he has been included but the former Premier League star is actually a very successful entrepreneur…

What is Gary Neville’s net worth?

Neville has an estimated net worth of around £20million.

As well as being a top-level footballer who represented Man United at senior level for 19 years and a popular pundit with Sky Sports, he is also a keen entrepreneur.

The former England international is a co-owner of Salford City and owns Hotel Football next to Old Trafford along with Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and brother Phil Neville.

He is also a property developer, with his company Relentless fronting the £120million St Michael’s redevelopment of mixed-use space including offices in Jackson’s Row, Manchester.

As well as that, Neville is one of the founding members of University UA92 which aims to support disadvantaged young people on their journey into the working world.

How does he compare to the other Dragons?

Neville has a huge net worth but he struggles to compete with the rest of the stars on Dragon’s Den.

He will sit alongside Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman, Steven Bartlett, Deborah Meaden and Sara Davies while Emma Grede is a fellow special guest on the show.

Davies’ £37million net worth is the closest to Neville’s while Meaden is worth a whopping £50million.

Bartlett is next up as he boasts an incredible £68million net worth at the age of 31.

There is then a huge jump up to the most successful business moguls among the Dragons.

Suleyman is worth £200million while Grede is worth £282million with both heavily involved in the fashion industry.

Jones then sits well clear as the wealthiest Dragon, with a net worth of over £1billion…

So Neville is some way off Jones’ entrepreneurial level but they will be sharing the studio when the new series of Dragon’s Den airs in the new year.
