Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts got fans purring with his stunning one-handed behind the back catch on Sunday.
On what is National Tight Ends Day in the States, Pitts made the fine gather during Falcons’ 16-13 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Pitts caught the ball behind his back and in the same motion dragged it from his hip to his chest with multiple Tampa Bay defenders pursuing him, fending off one of them with a stiff arm.
And it’s fair to say this move impressed a number of fans.
One said: “That’s greatness!”
Another said: “What the hell? Incredible.”
This fan added: “Super catch.”
While this fan declared: “One hell of a catch by Pitts!!”
The catch bore a resemblance to Pitts’ teammate Bijan Robinson who made a one-handed catch earlier in October against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Robinson, who plays as a running back, also caught the ball behind his back with one hand and dragged it all the way to his chest as he was running in for a touchdown.
