Lingfield betting tips
12.07: The Ice Phoenix 15/8 (1pt)
This horse will suit the style at Lingfield where he can use the bend to his advantage, where he’s already shown he can finish strongly from off the pace.
That’s often the way to win on this course and he did well at Kempton on his sole all-weather run so this looks promising.
It’s difficult to judge how good Monfrid will be stepping up from 6f but 7f looks more ideal to this Charlie Hill-trained horse under David Egan.
1.12: Queen Aminatu 3/1 (1pt)
Al Agaila was a winner in the tips on his last start, at Kempton, but this looks like he will need to be even better and isn’t quite worth backing at 7/2 given the group runners in the field.
Queen Aminatu won this off 3lb lower last year quite comfortably, though this renewal could be tougher, the William Haggas-trained filly is well suited to the mile and still has put in great runs recently even if dropping in the ratings slightly on the turf.
But her all-weather record speaks for itself making her a big danger back here having run in group and listed company six times this year already.
Warwick betting tips
1.55: Iroko 5/6 (2pts – NAP)
Missed the odds against price but this Grade 1 novice hurdler will be great over fences in the JP McManus colours for trainer Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero.

The now five-year-old beat No Ordinary Joe at Cheltenham Festival in 2023 by just over a length in a field of 21 and when stepped up to 3m at Aintree a month later still put in a massive effort in Grade 1 company to come a close third behind Apple Away and Maximilian.
He can go well on soft ground and this race looks like the great start to a chasing career.
Chelmsford betting tips
12.55: Lucky Fifteen 3/1 (1pt)
Since being gelded he’s 1-1 on the all-weather and has a record reading 21115.
Latest run on soft ground 28 lengths away was clearly a blip and also shows he’s unsuited to the conditions at Goodwood that day.
Has been given a couple months off now and should be ready to get back into the swing of things on the artificial surface for a decent winter campaign.
Still looks well-weighted in comparison to some runners too and this could be the start.
