Jack Grealish once again showed why he’s one of the nicest guys in football as footage emerged of his respectful gesture in the tunnel at Wembley.
Australia and Hibernian forward Martin Boyle asked for Grealish’s shirt after England’s win over the Aussies, but it was what Grealish did next which had supporters hailing him as a class act.
The Three Lions sealed a 1-0 friendly victory over their visitors from Down Under thanks to Ollie Watkins’ second-half goal.
Grealish claimed the assist in a bright performance from the Man City star, and it was no surprise one of the Australia players was keen to get hold of his shirt after the game.
Footage from the tunnel shows 30-year-old Boyle approach the midfielder asking for his England jersey, which Grealish quickly stripping it off to gift to the Aussie ace.
And fans were delighted to see Grealish ask for Boyle’s shirt in return in a mark of respect towards the Scottish Premiership player.

“Can I get yours?” Grealish asked, which was met with a beat of hesitation from Boyle, who was seen taking selfies with Lionel Messi at the World Cup in Qatar.
He clearly didn’t expect the Premier League and Champions League winner to want his shirt, but he quickly got over his surprise to hand it over.
It’s just another moment of class from the ex-Aston Villa captain, and supporters loved it.
“Grealish is a class act,” one fan wrote on X.
“Jack Grealish is a great guy as well as great footballer,” said another.
Another Grealish fan added: “Real class, hugely respectful.”
“Whatever people say about this guy, he is pure class with opposite players, fans and the disadvantaged! Very humble person, quality off the field is even more important,” one X user wrote.
Grealish is likely to take to the field again when England face Italy in their Euro 2024 qualifier on Tuesday night at Wembley Stadium.
